Fort Denison is a former penal site and defensive facility occupying a small island located north of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Fort Denison is now a museum, tourist attraction, Sydney's only island cafe, and a popular location for wedding receptions and corporate events. Sydney Harbour Boat Tours goes up and close to Fort Denison telling it guests some facinating stories about the rocky little island. To the North East of Fort Denison is Taronga Zoo, a great place to see one of the worlds most beautiful Zoos, with awesome views of Sydney Harbour whilst strolling around looking at the animals.
